Next Drill: June 5th

Notice: Bring $5 for chow. Surplus Whites will be distributed. Please let us know if you are in need of a white dress uniform. If you have outgrown a uniform, turn it in. If you would like to purchase a new uniform, please do so early enough to be squared away prior to Boot Camp if you plan to attend.

CO Comments: CO Comments: Files will be inspected prior to chow for approximately one hour.  If a cadet has a question about an award or ribbon earned this is the time to see the Training Officer and CO to review and place the information in the file. New Medical forms are required each year.  At 1300 questions about training and awards may be asked and answered.

Special Notices:

*1. Due to increased enrollment, we will be collecting  $5 per cadet toward pizza and soda. If a cadet wishes to bring a bag lunch instead, that is permissible.

 2.   COURSEWORK WILL BE COLLECTED AT THE FIRST MUSTER SATURDAY. Please make a copy for your records. In accordance with the requirements of this Region and Regional Director anyone attending Recruit Training during the summer should have completed the Basic Military Requirement (BMR). If you are unfamiliar with the coursework and program requirement follow the Chain of Command and contact the LPO first.

3. NEW INFORMATION: If your ID is about to expire, remember re-enrollment fees are due 3 months in advance of the expiration date. If you are taking a summer training and your ID card expires during the summer the fee is due in April. We cannot process last minute requests which can affect admission for summer training.  Turn in a check made out to the US Naval Sea Cadet Corps to the CO because the ID card is processed at the National Office.

 4. Contact Instructor Maron TODAY and confirm your attendance. (apriljkm@gmail.com)  Cadets are accountable for this action which can affect training and promotion approval.

5.The Physical Readiness Test (PRT) will be given soon.  Prepare accordingly. PT Bag is required. This equipment includes a sport bag, plain Navy or black above knee shorts, running shoes, white non-striped socks, unit or Navy t-shirt, sweats if desired, water bottle, soap & dish, white towel.
